“The decision to put my father in care was not an easy one and he was not a willing participant. However, his needs were too much for my mother to take care of at home. My dad going to Westgate Aged Care has been wonderful and he even goes to happy hour on a Friday and to the RSL for lunch occasionally. He has settled in well, the staff are gentle, caring and friendly and his room is kept clean. He still misses home but is well cared for and kept comfortable. We couldn’t be happier with his placement.”
